Sylar: Turns out you're the villain, Peter. I'm the hero.
Hiro: [teleported in with sword] Sylar!
Sylar: You!
[Hiro runs forward and stabs Sylar in the left lung.]

Sylar: Uh, before we go in, I just wanted to say thanks.
Mohinder: For what?
Sylar: Well, you know, for bringing me with you. You didn't have to do that.
Mohinder: It would have been a long road alone. I'm glad for the company.
Sylar: I believe in fate, Mohinder, and karma. And I'm not just saying that 'cause you're Indian. I mean, you really came to my rescue. And I won't forget that.

Sylar: Welcome home, Dr. Suresh. - What happened to your nose?
Mohinder: Where's Molly?
Sylar: Asleep. Keep your voice down, we don't want to wake her.
Mohinder: What is it you want?
Sylar: Breakfast? I hope you don't mind. Maya cooked. She makes the most amazing chilaquiles.
Maya: It's such an honor to meet you.
Sylar: He's the one that should be honored. Maya came all the way from South America just to be here, Mohinder.
Mohinder: Really? Why's that?
Maya: I read your father's book. He has so many answers, but I have so many more questions.
Sylar: Sit, eat. I'm starving.
Maya: When Gabriel told me you two knew each other, I knew fate brought us together.
Mohinder: Gabriel. You mean Sylar, don't you? You do know this man is a killer?
Maya: Yes. He told me.
Mohinder: He did?
Maya: And I am ashamed to admit that I have taken lives as well. I have this sickness that comes out of me. It poisons everyone around. I need your help, Dr. Suresh.
Mohinder: So that's what this is about.
Sylar: We both need your help.
Mohinder: Why is that?
Sylar: I was reading about your lab work on the laptop. The Shanti virus. Does it really take away a person's abilities?
Mohinder: It also has the unfortunate side effect of killing the person affected.
Maya: Is that why your powers are gone? That you have this virus? (Mohinder and Sylar stand at the same time, Mohinder with a knife and Sylar holding a gun. Mohinder drops his knife.)
Maya: Gabriel, what are you doing?!
Sylar: Maya, I need you to stay calm. Apparently, Mohinder, your blood is the answer to my ills.
Mohinder: No, no, not always. Trust me, there are many different strains of the virus.
Sylar: But when you mix it with a certain cheerleader's blood, it changes, doesn't it? And it heals anything. Isn't that right, doctor?
Maya: You lied to me?
Mohinder: I don't know what he told you, but he is not my friend. He's a monster. (Maya's eyes go black, as do Mohinder's and Sylar's.)
Sylar: Maya! Do not spoil this!
Maya: My brother was right not to trust you!
Sylar: Do you really want to kill Dr. Suresh, the one man who can save you? (Molly screams in pain and walks in.)
Mohinder: Molly!
Sylar: And she dies... a sweet, innocent little girl. Stop it, Maya! Now!

Sylar: What if I told you I can be special? Important. But to do that I have to hurt a lot of people. Should I?
Virginia Gray: You? You could never hurt anyone.
Sylar: There's a lot of things I can do you don't know about. I have something to show you. (sprays water into the air.)
Virginia Gray: What are you doing?! (Sylar moves his hand over the water and turns it into snow.)
Sylar: I know how much you love snow globes.
Virginia Gray: How did you - Gabriel? Gabriel! (snow globes start spinning with the snow and one hits his mother in the cheek.)
[Hiro and Ando watching Sylar and his mother.]

Sylar: What so we can save what's-her-name? [Peter punches him in the face]
Peter: Her name's Emma.

Sylar: Where is the "heal anything" blood?
Molly: Please. (Mohinder takes it out of his bag.)
Sylar: You had it here all along? You and I have trust issues, doctor. Give it to her, first. Let me see you save her. Then if it works... I'll let you save me.

Sylar: You are not my mother
Angela: But I am dear. I am.

Sylar: You'll get bored, after like a hundred years of trying to off me, watching all your loved ones drop like flies. You may eventually come to forgive me. Maybe you'll even love me.
Claire: I'll keep trying to kill you for the rest of my life.
Sylar: Well, everybody needs a hobby.

Sylar: You? How you are going to help? You gonna make me some more eggs?
Michelle: By making it easy. By making it fun. I can take you anywhere you wanna go. Paris. London. How about Japan? And I can be anyone you want me to be. [morphs into a Japanese woman in a kimono.] (Suggestively)If your fantasy is exotic...[morphs into two blonde twins who touch Sylar on the arms before walking off.]...Or more run of the mill.[morphs into Sylar himself.]...Or something more familiar...if that's what you're into. (returns to her own form.) (returns to her normal tone.)You see? I can help you. We were meant to do this together.
Sylar: [Considers her, looking thoughtful. He stands and walks to her, whispering seductively before smashing a cup into her head and killing her.] I underestimated you. You truly are extraordinary...Just like me. You were right. I am gonna get my abilities back. Starting with yours.

Sylar: Your ability is fascinating. A gift.
Maya: What I do is terrible. I have taken many lives, and I can't control it.
Sylar: I was like you. I could do things, amazing things.
Maya: You? Like what?
Sylar: I could move objects with my mind. I could hear a pin drop from miles away. But then it all just... went away. That's why I need to see Dr. Suresh. To get them back.
Maya: You want to be different?
Sylar: I want to be special. Unique. An ability doesn't have to be a burden, Maya. (Sylar reaches over and strokes Maya's hair.) It can be wonderful. (Alejandro wakes up and Sylar moves away from Maya.)
Alejandro: (in Spanish) Stop at the next gas station. I need to find a coyote to take us across.
Maya: (in Spanish) What? What about Gabriel?
Alejandro: (in Spanish) I don't trust him, Maya. I see the way he looks at you. Why is he still here?
Sylar: Is there a problem?
Maya: My brother wants to hire a coyote, to cross the border without you.
Sylar: Why? You can't trust them.
Maya: (in Spanish) God delivered Gabriel to us, Alejandro. We should put our faith in him. (in English) It's okay. We will cross the border together. I'm glad to have found you, Gabriel.

Sylar:[After impersonating an FBI agent and ordering some local cops around, including an order for decaf coffee] You drink decaf, right Noah?

Sylar:[While telekineticly choking Jessie, whose power is Sound manipulation (expressed through voice)] Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

T.V. Reporter: Mr. Petrelli, earlier today you were about to make a statement, you had a message to deliver, are you ready to do that now?
Nathan: God is the only one with a message it's a message of hope and urgency cause he's not going to wait much longer. His message is a simple one: we are all connected. Our hopes, our dreams, our children's future reflect back in each others' eyes. We fight our own personal battles, but we know we're not alone because only together can we make our short time on this planet mean something. Only together can we be the stewards of our own destiny. And we hold in our collective hearts one noble goal; save ourselves, save the world.

Takezo: (drunkenly)You look like a fish when you talk. Like a giant carp!
Hiro: I already made a mess of the past. The space/time continuum can't take anymore. History needs Takezo Kensei to be a hero today... (Hiro puts on Takezo's armor and rides away on horseback.) Ando's never going to believe this one!

Takezo: (faintly) Sorry, Carp. I'll help you be a hero the next time around.
Hiro: No! You cannot die! (Kensei's wound heals.) Godsend!
